We won't charge your credit card until we have confirmed your personal information and sent you a confirmation from the captain of the boat. Once your reservation is confirmed, we will proceed to charge your card and send you further infomation. This down payment ($50 USD) for your boat trip to Colombia. This price is discounted from the final price of each boat. If your boat is located in Carti, you need special transportation which costs additional $55 USD. If that's your case, your downpayment will be $55 USD split in: $50 down payment for the boat trip + $5 down payment for ground transportation.

African Queen II

ABOUT THE BOAT The boat has space up to 10 ppl. The boat has snorkeling gear available. Your trip will include 3 days in the San Blas islands with all meals, water and tea/coffee and fresh seafood included.   ABOUT THE CAPTAIN Rudi & his wife    ABOUT THE TRIP 4 days, 3 nights 3 meals per day  4 days between the islands of San Blas     COST $400 Departs from : Isla Carti inside the Guna Comarca.  Transportation to the sailboat must be reserved seperately. The cost is $55 for the 4x4 jeep to the port of Carti (this includes $22 in entrance taxes). From there There guests need to a small boat to reach the sailboat, this costs $15 or $20.                                                                               

Amande

The Amande boat and crew are well known to offer professional service and excellent food. The Amande I and Amande II are two identical boats that go alternate from Panama to Colombia. Example itinerary:  Day 1 - Departing from Puerto Lindo the navigation to San Blas Islands takes around 8 hours. our first stop is usually in chichime island, where we spend the rest of the day and night. Day 2 There is a great place to snorkel on an old shipwreck, close to Dog Island We spend the night anchored in an area called lemons cays. we will spend around 2 hours sailing on the calm San blas waters during the day. Day 3 in the Holandays cays we are going to be visiting 2 beautiful different beaches and riffs at night we depart to cartagena. Day4 Full day sailing in open sea. getting close to cartagena coast. Day 5 Arrive in Cartagena with a delicious breakfast. we will try to stamp the passports with cartagena entrance before afternoon. The Gitano del Mar has become famous for its Party trips for Backpackers in San Blas. The crew is fun, experienced and helpful and will make sure you have the experience of your life. Koala II

ABOUT THE BOAT The boat was built in 1998 and its size is 36.7 ft.  There is 7 guest spots total available (2 x double cabins and 3 x dorm beds in the common area), each sleeping place has a personal fan. There is a bathroom with a shower in very good conditions.   ABOUT THE CREW Captain Mike Arcila is from Colombia and has been running the Koala II safely since 2 years between Colombia and Panama. He speaks English, Spanish and Italian. He learned his Italian in Rome, Itlay where he lived for 10 years and worked as a chef which makes sure excellent food is provided on the trip. Edwin Otero is the marinero on board the Koala II since 7 years. The Mintaka offers quality: well maintained, very safe, comfortable, clean and professional operated by a German couple: Manfred & Petra. They are probably one of the most experienced crew in the backpacker fleet. Their names stand for continuity and reliability. Both have the same sailing license to ensure the personal safety and the safety of the boat. They have well over 35 years sailing experience, 21 years alone on Mintaka, where they  live constantly. Manfred, the captain and chef engineer, and Petra, the first mate and chef, are married for almost 40 years.     ABOUT THE BOAT 46ft. aluminum sloop that was custom built for Manfred and Petra fits up to 8 guests and is never overcrowded very well maintained, very safe, comfortable and clean fans under deck   ABOUT THE CREW Professional and friendly German couple: Manfred & Petra. Manfred, the captain and chef engineer, and Petra, the first mate and chef, are married for almost 40 years. Perla Del Caribe

ABOUT THE BOAT Is a 43 foot monohull Jeanneau, it fits 10 passengers but they take a maximum of 8 guests so they can accomodate them and the two crew comfortably. There are three private cabins with double beds, and one private cabin with two bunks. In the salon there is an additional double bed. The boat has two bathrooms, a large kitchen and all of the safety equipment  necessary so you can relax on your journey. There is a great stereo, snorkel gear for the passengers and rods and reels for fishing. NEXT DATES October 16th, 2015   About The Boat  “Perle” is a Bavaria 41 in very good condition. It was built 2004 and has two cabins, two bathrooms and a big saloon. It has all required security systems (Life raft, EPIRB) GPS navigation, Autopilot etc   About The Captain Ahoy, my name is Miro, I am originally from Poland and worked in Germany for many years where I owned a Café. Sailing became my passion 25 years ago and in the meantime I sailed about 30,000 sea miles. During that time I crossed the Atlantic ocean three times and the Pacific ocean once. In Germany I obtained the German Skipper Certificate. Three years ago I bought “Perle” (the German word for pearl) in Spain and set off to sail around the world. After crossing the Atlantic ocean and traveling through the Caribbean Sea I arrived in San Blas, Panama. So far the San Blas islands have been the most idyllic spot I have been to which is why I decided to stay a little longer. Santana

The Santana is the ideal trip if you are looking for a spacious Catamaran. Unlike others this boat is not over crowded. Captain Gisi is an experienced Captain that has been in San Blas since years and makes you feel safe and comfortable on board. Great and fresh food! Highly recommended!!   ABOUT THE BOAT SANTANA is a 50 foot aluminum catamaran (14.6 meters long and 6.8 meters wide) built in 1996 as a one-off for day charter and she got completely refurbished in september 2015. The catamaran is very strong and safe and is equipped with life jackets, two emergency life rafts, satellite telephone, GPS, hand flares, parachute distress- and smoke signals and MOB system.  SANTANA offers a huge deck space and may easily take up 16 passengers plus crew. There is the decks house with 10 comfortable beds and a big dining table and social area. And there are two cabins in both hulls where 3 ppl fit in each of it. On board are snorkeling gear, a dinghy, fishing equipment a big fridge for the guests, a fresh water shower and two bathrooms with electric toilets.   ABOUT THE CREW German captain ¨Gisi¨ holds a professional worldwide cruising license and is full-time sailor since 2006. He has sailed in the Balic Sea, Mediterranean and Caribbean speaks German, English and Spanish.
